Some users have reported that the driver for the Mixstream Pro will not complete installation. The driver installation will proceed to install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable program, but will not proceed past this. You may notice the installer flash on the screen only briefly.
This may be due to conflicting C++ redistributable programs in your system. Please follow these steps before attempting to install the driver:
- Navigate to the Windows Add or Remove Programs utility (System Settings > Add or Remove Programs or Settings > Apps > Apps & Features):
- Search for the word "Visual" and this will populate several Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable programs. Look for the program named Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x64) and Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x86). Select each and uninstall. These will be reinstalled during the driver installation.
- Once this is complete, launch the Mixstream Pro driver installer and properly install the driver for your device. If you need to re-download the driver, please find the latest version on the Numark Mixstream Pro product page.
